Maikaze Daiko is a San Francisco-based performance ensemble and taiko school. Our name, "Dancing Wind", reflects our focus on innovative arrangements, precision taiko playing and creative use of movement and space. Maikaze Daiko performs work that expresses a fresh perspective on the rich world of taiko drumming today. Maikaze Daiko will perform from 10-10:30PM at this event which is the largest upscale NYE gala in SF. The event will take place at the Westin St. Francis Hotel next to Union Square.
